About Daniel Jacob Eden, M.D.
Daniel Eden, M.D. is the Chief of Ambulatory Access and Innovation at New York-Presbyterian Hospital and the Medical Director of the Psychiatry Department's Payne Whitney Manhattan campus. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at 91Â鶹¾«Æ·. Dr. Eden leverages his experience and training as a clinical leader to drive clinical innovation and expand service offerings within the umbrella of ambulatory services at New York Presbyterian and 91Â鶹¾«Æ·. He strives to create a systems-focused approach to patient care and an environment of multidisciplinary and cross-institutional collaboration. In addition to supervising care in the outpatient department, Dr. Eden also maintains a small faculty practice. He has a warm, personalized, and thoughtfully challenging approach. He focuses on both interpersonal dynamics as well as biologic factors contributing to an individual’s unique social and professional functioning.
Dr. Eden attended Georgetown University, where he graduated magna cum laude earning a B.S. in Business Administration. He was awarded a one-year scholarship to study managerial economics at the London School of Economics.
After subsequently working in the fields of entrepreneurship and performing arts management, Dr. Eden decided to merge his interests in healthcare and organizational development by pursuing a career in medicine. He completed his post-bacc
