Personal Statement

I am an academic general internist with expertise in preventative health and chronic disease management for patients aged 18 and older. My clinical practice is rooted in evidence-based medicine and coordination of care for medically complex patients. I enjoy forming longitudinal relationships with my patients and helping them reach their health goals. I believe healthcare is a human right and that delivering equitable care requires acknowledging the whole person, not just the disease.
